Acceptable use policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy sets out what Readesire may and may not be used for. It's part of our terms of service, and it applies to everything you tell us and every book we write for you.
What Readesire is for
Readesire writes nonfiction books for one reader's personal learning and enjoyment. Use it for that: to explore subjects you're curious about.
Content we don't write
You may not ask for, and we won't write:
Sexual or sexually explicit content of any kind. Any content that sexualizes minors is forbidden absolutely, and we report it to the authorities.
Content that promotes hatred, violence or discrimination against people because of who they are, or that harasses, bullies or threatens anyone.
Instructions or encouragement for serious harm, such as making weapons or illegal drugs, self-harm, or committing crimes.
Content meant to deceive or defraud, including scams, false information presented as fact, or impersonating a real person or organization.
Content about a real private person that reveals their private information or puts words in their mouth.
Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
Using the site
Don't send spam or automated requests, scrape the site, or try to get around our limits or the AI's safeguards.
Don't probe, attack or interfere with the site's security, or upload malware.
Don't resell the books we write for you or publish them as your own work. They're for your personal reading.
Images
Book covers are made by our own system from your book's subject. You can't write prompts for images, and we don't make images of real people.
If the rules are broken
We may decline to write a book that breaks this policy, and refund you if you've paid. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks it, as our terms of service explain.
To report content that breaks this policy, write to [email protected]. We read every report.
