This page explains what we collect when you use Readesire, why we need it, and who helps us run the service. Readesire is run by [Business name], [Business address].
What we collect
The answers you give us about yourself and what you're curious about, whether you type them, chat with us or paste them from another AI. We use them to suggest books and write yours.
Your email address, when you sign up, so we can send you sign-in links and tell you when your book is ready.
The books we write for you, and your orders. Payment details go straight to Paddle, our payment provider, and never reach us.
How you use the site: the pages you open and the steps you take, such as asking for book ideas or starting checkout. We record these in our own database so we can see where the site works and where it doesn't.
Cookies
We use two cookies that the site needs to work. One gives your browser a random id before you sign up, so the books you start are kept for you. The other keeps you signed in. Your light or dark theme is remembered in your browser and never sent to us. We don't use advertising cookies or share your browsing with ad networks.
Who helps us
We use a few providers to run Readesire. Each one gets only what it needs for its part:
Anthropic, whose AI models research and write your book from your answers. OpenAI, whose models draw your book's cover. Google, whose Gemini models narrate your audiobook if you buy one.
Paddle, which handles checkout, payment, tax and invoices as the seller of record. Resend, which sends our emails. Railway, which hosts the site and its database.
We don't sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your answers, your books and your account for as long as you have an account, so you can come back to your books. Books started without signing up are kept for a while in case you return, then deleted. Paddle keeps payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and your books. Write to [[email protected]] and we'll take care of it. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
