What we make

Readesire writes nonfiction books for one reader. You tell us about yourself and what you're curious about, and we write a book around it. You can add an audiobook narrated from the same text.

How the books are written

Your book is written by AI. It's researched in depth, then written and reviewed by our AI system, without a person reading each book before it reaches you.

That means a book can contain mistakes. Read it the way you'd read any popular nonfiction book: it's for learning and enjoyment, not a reference you can rely on for facts that matter.

Our books aren't professional advice about your money, health or legal affairs. For decisions like those, please talk to a qualified professional.

Buying a book

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Prices are shown before you pay. After you pay, we write your book. It usually takes a few hours and sometimes up to a day, and we email you when it's ready.

If you're not happy

If you're not happy with your book, we'll rewrite it or refund you, whichever you prefer. Our refund policy explains how.

Your book

The book is yours to read, keep and share for personal use. Please don't resell it or publish it as your own work.

You're responsible for what you tell us. Please don't share anything you don't have the right to share, or ask us to write anything unlawful or meant to harm someone. We may decline to write a book that breaks this rule, and refund you if you've paid.

Your account

You sign in with a link we email you. Keep access to your email safe, since anyone with it can open your books.

Limits

We work hard to keep Readesire running and your books available, but we can't promise the site will never be down. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any book is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. If we make a change that matters, we'll say so on this page and update the date at the top. Questions are welcome at [[email protected]].
